As a veteran newscaster who hosted, moderated and emceed hundreds of events for more than two decades, I understand how to keep an event moving so attendees are attentive, focused and engaged. Today, I use that unique on-air expertise combined with coaching skills to help clients prepare in advance and deliver intended messages with impact so passive listeners become active participants.
As a television news personality, I hosted music festivals, fashion shows, movie premieres, company meetings, city events, business openings, fundraisers, celebrity and sporting events, and the Presidents Summit for America’s Future to name a few.
As a political candidate for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, I’ve served as Master of Ceremonies at political debates, community gatherings, school board meetings, town hall events, symposiums and Presidential visits.
As a business communications coach, I work closely with organizations to keep listeners attentive and engaged at meetings and events. That means extracting key information and drawing people out, knowing what questions to ask to make sure messages are delivered clearly and concisely, keeping the conversation moving among panelists and defining and shaping content in advance.

When I picked up the phone, the organizer said: "Will you be our next Oprah?" From there, I helped senior executives structure a lively memorable employees meeting in a unique setting--a local movie theater. Serving as a talk show host and interviewer, we dumped the traditional slides and prepared presenters to deliver relevant messages in LIVE interview settings and directed questions from the audience.

By interviewing distinguished panelists in advance, Karen is able to help an organization identify and clarify key goals in order to define, shape and deliver messages in limited time frames. At business events, we help organizations create open conversational environments that include taking written and live questions from audiences, helping panelists interact, smoothly transitioning subject matters and keeping the conversation on track and moving at all times.

PHARMACEUTICAL SALES AND MARKETING MEETINGS
At a recent global sales summit, Karen met with company presidents in advance to understand their goals and strategies in order to help them better articulate their vision to employees. Following the meetings, we were able to develop specific questions for each president to help him or her deliver very focused messages in a conversational and personal manner. Acting as their "Larry King"--with a set to match, Karen generated a lively discussion that framed pre-prepared messages from the audience's standpoint to make their meeting important and inspiring.
