For most people, speaking in front of a group can be a nerve racking and challenging experience. Our public speaking and presentation skills sessions are geared to speakers of all levels. We offer small and large group programs as well as private coaching sessions which give you multiple opportunities to practice on videotape so you can receive instant feedback and improve on the spot.

Whether you are pitching new business, speaking to employees, addressing a charged community hearing or participating in a panel discussion, we’ll teach you how to make the most of your allotted time, control nerves, organize your content and speak with conviction so people listen to what you have to say. From the friendliest presentation to the most difficult, we will help you understand your audience so you can deliver relevant and meaningful messages.

We believe our approach to public presentation is unique because our expert coaches have attended and reported on hundreds of highly charged government and community hearings, protests and employee meetings. In addition to helping you think through and effectively deliver your presentation, we can help you prepare to deliver unwanted news to skeptical and sometimes frustrated listeners.  By learning how to better communicate controversial information and calmly respond to antagonistic questions and outbursts, you will become a more comfortable and confident communicator especially under pressure.

Because every person and every issue is so different, each session is tailored to the needs of the group or individual. We believe open, honest communication is critical to your credibility and success. We will teach you how to put yourself in your listener’s shoes to better understand them, communicate realistic expectations and provide information and answers in a timely fashion. Our work has included:

  • Training a global human resources staff for a series of very delicate and extremely important company wide employee meetings over changes in their health benefits plan. 
  • Coaching internal spokespeople to announce unexpected plant shutdowns, layoffs, investigations and discontinued product lines.
  • Developing and delivering motivational keynote industry speeches and presentations
  • Teaching speakers of all levels how to deliver information, anticipate questions, structure responses and turn unwanted questions into opportunities to deliver information
  • Identifying and developing strategies to help leaders communicate critical information regarding management and policy changes.

Like all of our programs, you learn by doing. Through customized drills, role-playing and critiques, we will teach you how to battle the butterflies and deliver effective talks that are clear, concise and focused.
