Friedman provided advice and insight on a wide variety of subjects including how to develop and deliver messages, how to handle difficult interviews, handling crisis situations, satellite media tours, news conferences, and much more.

NATIONAL HIGHWAY INSTITUTE SELECTS KAREN FRIEDMAN
Pennsylvania’s director of community and customer relations, showcased a media training program developed by Karen Friedman Enterprises that assisted PennDOT employees in “Meeting the Media.” It very quickly became PennDOT’s most requested employee training and received the highest ratings of any training program in the departments history.Impressed with the program’s success and content, Joseph Toole, director of FHWA’s Professional Development division, requested assistance from members of the AASHTO Subcommittee on Public Affairs in evaluating and developing a similar program for participants in NHI training.
